When ever I try to restart a vm from a saved state I get this error message: <Server> could not be restored because the emulated Ethernet controller could not be initialized. Only way to restart vm is to discard the saved state.

I've spent three hours trying to install a guest OS into Virtual Server 2005 with zero success. All I get is a black, blank screen with a blinking cursor! My keyboard does not work, but my mouse cursor does change. So, how do you install a guest OS?
