I have setup a virtual machine in Windows XP and I can VRMC to it. However, it fails to accept the regular remote desktop connection. Is this a known issue or it requires some special settings? Thanks for any help.

I have VM 2005 installed on a W2k3 server. When I reboot the host machine, the virtual machines loose connectivity to the host network and public network. If I re-install VM2005, they immediately have full network access again until I need to reboot.

Is there a 3rd party SAN filesystem (similar to Vmware ESX) that is known to work with Virtual Server 2005? I assume you could cluster two nodes, but I am interested in multiple active nodes, and the ability to relatively easily move a virtual guest from one server to another ...

Unable to browse the network from vm's. Get a message such as ' unable to browse...you may not have the necessary permissions....'. Able to browse the vm's from the host, ( which is the DC for the domain, vm's joined the domain successfully ).

From the guest vm (win2k03 std), when attempting to browse, selecting network places>>windows network><xyz.com>, get 'you do not have the necessary permissions....' from host can browse to vm ok. Scenario is :

I created a secondary dynamic VD on partition seperate from the boot partition of VS2005 (F:\Virtual Data Disk\ data.vhd). Both partitions reside on the same physical disk as the Host OS. So partitions are: C:HOSTOS

I noticed in the .vmc file there is a setting for virtual video memory set to 4 (mb I assume) any problems moving this up to 8? Also any noticable performance impact with having a higher resolution? R
