| Data packet flowing through SBS/Exchange | 08 Jul 2008 00:41 GMT | 2 |
I need to find out how much data size or number of emails do we have going in and out of Exchange on our SBS server in order to get some statistic. Is there a way to determine this or would I have to buy a 3rd party software?

| Autoupdate Blocked by ISA | 08 Jul 2008 00:09 GMT | 4 |
I have removed WSUS 3.1 from my SBS R1 Prem. system. I can access Windows Update via IE with no problems, but Autoupdate is being blocked by ISA. The existing ISA rule for IE to get updates works ok, but does not allow Autoupdates from any computer inside the domain.

I have a site where some machines are failing to install XP SP3 as delivered to them by WSUS. They take hours on starting up, eventually fail, and (I guess) roll back to SP2. Is there a way of telling WSUS not to install XP SP3, at least until we can

| Allocated Memory alert(s) on SERVER | 07 Jul 2008 09:10 GMT | 3 |
We seem to be getting a large number of these alerts on many of our clients servers. From what i can understand it is primarily related to Exchange and SQL services fighting for memory, or more relevant to SQL instances using more memory than it should really require ie.

| Verify and testing backups | 07 Jul 2008 07:45 GMT | 2 |
Currently we are using the standard backup that comes with SBS. What is the best way to verify that it has worked. And to test recovery recovery procedures? Should I create a virtual SBS environment, and restore the backups to it?
