I have one workstation on a SBS that when any user uses that workstation and
they open and close any word or excel fiile the file become read only when
you open it at another workstation
Any ideas

I am doing a little reconfig of My sbs network, but I need a some advice
before I do. Here is the current set up:
+-20 users, sbs 2003 r2, 1 nic, web filter(proxy), Cisco 1601 router -->

Not sure where to post this - running sbs 2003 and about 5 clients. Has all
been working fine on the print front. Installed an HP office jet onto the
network (HP software all loaded onto client pcs) now the clients cannot

A little circular (red with a white X in it) icon appear in the app
tray, and when one puts a pointer on it, a message balloon pops up
saying that Windows XP had detected spyware and that we should click
there to download the latest anti-spyware tools from Microsoft.

I need to start "Help and Support" service. Just rebuilt SBS R2 and applied
updates. In event log, when I go to "information", I get error panel that
says system service not running.
I went to the services MSC and could not find "help and Support"

A user who created several subfolders in her Office Outllook with connection
to Exchange server on SBS 2003 Premium R2 is not able to view these

I have a Windows 2003 LAN with no outside connections to the
internet.  I have just recently added a new workstation to the LAN and
it will not update to the group policy settings for our domain.  All
the other workstations have picked up the policy without a problem.  I

I have had SBS Monitoring and Reorting running fine for months but the last
week it has not produced a single daily performance report.  The email is
sent but just says 'Page cannot be dispayed'.  Same error when I try running
