Computerized voting systems (aka DREs or Direct Recording Electronic) must be based on an operating system, for example, Windows or Linux. Linux has the advantage of being open so that all the source code can be open. Windows source code will not be opened to anyone.

Firewall is configured properly for IMAP, I have started the IMAP service and got the IMAP Virtual Server in exchange manager running, however if i try to "telnet mail.xxx.com 143" i do not get through. I am assuming that means there is something on the server that i am missing. ...

I've been experiencing a problem with my mail server on Small bussiness server 2003 sp1. Last night at around 9:20 all the external emails were not arriving to there destination inbox. I came in this morning a user mentioned she did not get ext emails.

I'm experiencing a problem on a small SBS 2003 network. While copying FROM the server is normal speed - this is not the case when copying TO the server. Just copying a few megabytes can take minutes.

What is the easiest way to see the websites a user in the office has visited? We have SBS 2003 Standard with only 7 users. The user in question uses Firefox. I would like to check it with them now knowing, is the easiest way to attempt to do it when they are not at there desk? ...

Have have the Remote Web Workspace (RWW) up and running fine and can access OWA, so everything seems okay. But, i cannot access "Use my company's internal Web sie" from RWW. Regards

SBS 2003 premium with ISA 2000. The emails in smtp queque just remain there and do not go out. There is no error running ICW. The only relevant events I can see in event logs are below. Any help to resolve this problem would be appreciated.

What we need to do is allow a standard user remote access to login to the server, without giving them administrator rights. I have tried adding the user to various security groups, when I login to RWA as this user I can only see the other client PCs listed and no server.
