I am having an ongoing problem with my SBS 2003 R1 server failing to backup
to tape.
I was previously using Veritas BackUp Exec 9.1 but have uninstalled it
completely.

One of the SBS boxes I look after has recently started failing on its backup
with the following error message:
Error: C: is not a valid drive, or you do not have access.

Hi all, I really need help please.

Linux has the advantage of being open so that all the source code can

A GPO object was created to restrict MMC snap-ins on computers in several
OUs. Problem is the GPO seems to have applied itself to the SBS and now we

I have an XP laptop client that is taking extra time (about 4 mins) to
get passed "preparing network connections" during startup.   I have
the machine set for DHCP, there are no entries at all for DNS or WINS
in the network configuration for the NIC.  I have disabled the local

I had renamed the server before I knew it was a big no no. So I changed it
back to the original name and this cured the problems I was having.
