Could someone help me with the pros and cons of setting up network printers with standard \\server\printer like settings vs. creating a batch file that adds all our network printers on each workstation as local printers printing to separate tcpip ports ?

SBS SP1 Exchange SP2. IMAP for the Iphone is working using SSL on port 993. Is there anything I can do for the SMTP protocol to make it more secure besides keeping it patched? John

Server after restart works normal but after 10 minutes start to be very slow. I cant even navigete by mouse. CPU is 50% - 70% used in that moment. In Process Explorer I have got about 50% usage by Deferred Procedure Calls.

I followed the directions to upgrade the installed sharepoint databases to SQL Server 2005 and I seem to be geeting many Event Errors. What does the following mean? I think they're occuring during the nightly scheduled backup period.

I have a windows server 2003 SBS with SQL installed. We use an Iomega network attached storage device as out backup drive. Over the past week the time for the backups to run has grown from 4 hours to 24 hours with no additional data being backed up. Their is over 900GB
