I am having some fairly serious issues getting my tape drive working
with NTBackup at present, having previously had it working quite
happily every night.  What has changed precisely I cannot seem to work
out, however I am pretty stumped at this point and would love to hear

hi, we have windows server 2003 for small business. we have about 21 pcs (XP
and vista) and we are encouraging people to access our server for file
storage. we dont have an active domain.
everyone's pc is mapped to the server but now and again, someone will have

Looking in the GP Editor, I see policies to HIDE the various desktop icons,
but I wish to force them to SHOW ("My Documents" especially). Googling
brings me nothing but a few forums which say it can't be done? I find this
difficult to believe, can anyone point me in the right ...

When I try and connect to my SBS server I get the message that I have
exceeded the maximum number of sessions (I think the max is 2) and cannot
connect.  These are probably sessions that I used earlier and just
disconnected from instead of logout but now I'm stuck and can't get ...

The answer is probaly b******g obvious, but it escapes me!
One employee regularly works from home and connects to her computer through
RWW.  It works fine except that I have to set her up as an Administrator for

   I have an issue at a site I have just started looking after regarding
software installation. They are a small operation, with only 4 users, and an
SBS2003 server. All of the PC's are logging onto the domain, and as such,
are unable to install software on their PC.

We have an SBS 2003 server with ISA 2004 running on it.
I have at least one user who uses the in-built SBS VPN to connect to the
server.  However, when they do so and then try to browse the outside web,
they are asked to authenticate again.

My goal is to use connection manager on a Vista laptop to access shares on
the SBS 2003 network.
I have downloaded and installed Coonection Manager from RWW and it gets
authneticated.  I cannot access any machines on the SBS network.  Am I

We have a win 2k3 sever with sbs on it.
I installed WSS 3 alongside our existing 2 (which is needed for SBS) and
just let the installer go, I must have missed where you choose what DB server
you want, as its installed SQL embedded edition or whatever it is - the free

I have been getting this error since awhile now. After each SQL database
backup and just before the default SBS backup i get this error about 24 time
in a row each day. The error is

Today i decided to reboot my SBS03 box, it had been up for over 90 days.  So
i rebooted... After rebooting, people keep coming to me complaining that
several websites wont work, but everything else works fine.. So i called up
some friends at home and had them goto those websites ...
