I have just upgraded a customers SBS 2003 to SP1.  I performed the
upgrade via Remote Access over the internet.
There were no problems until the final step, ie  "Install Windows

We have one SBS2003 server and another Win2003 R2 server that is joined
to the SBS domain. All desktops (WinXP) can do what I want, but the
server with 2003 R2 can not. What I want to do is create a share, and
set permissions and file security to domain users.

I have an SBS 2003 R2 box with 3 member servers behind it.  When I
went to install Symantec Backup Exec 11d, it advised me to change the
members servers from dynamic to static ip addresses.  No problem
here...so I went into TCP settings and assigned them the following ip

I have an SBS2003 R2 SP2 as domain controller and a Win2003 R2 SP2 acting in
the roles of TS and FS. I would like to have one-way replication of our LOB
databases folder on the SBS onto the TS/FS to supplement our tape backup on
the SBS.

Almost too weird,
The Sharepoint site (companyweb) is working perfectly.  I am receiving the
two error messages in the event logs.  Here is the kicker...when I check the
services to make sure all necessary services are started, MSSQL$SHAREPOPINT

We have just bought a new server to replace an old one. I have installed the
new one with SBS 2003 R2.
I have setup my 6 Client Computers and they all access the server OK but for
some reason in Server Management 3 don't show the Operating System and also
inherited permissions disappearing31 May 2007 19:34 GMT2
Have checked the "allow inherible permissions from the parent..." checkbox on
a user in AD, yet after a few hours the check mark is removed and the
permissions are denied. Anyone have any ideas how I can set this permenantly?

All,
I made a typo when I originally set up my SBS 2003 server in the companies
name.  In system manager, I was able to correct the companies intranet title
name to fix it.  But I notice whenever I use RWW the login screen still has
R2 CALS for Action Pack Server 2003?31 May 2007 19:08 GMT2
I know that the SBS R2 licensing allows us to use the R2 CALs for other
Server 2003 servers in our organization. When  we first went to SBS 2003, we
were not a partner and purchased SBS 2003 Premium through volume licensing
with SA. We are now at R2 and are going to add a Server ...

I can't begin to thank everyone who's helped me on this site.  I'm getting
the following alerts, but I can't find any issues with Exchange, my emails
are going out and we are receiving.  I'm I missing the obvious.
The store.exe process is allocating more memory than usual
