I have a VPN set up on my laptop so that when I am at home connected
through wireless to my broadband, I still access the server and send
and recieve through outlook. We also use Microsoft CRM which
intergrates with outlook. All this works fine at home, but I am working

I'm interested in SBS 2003 but I don't see a newsgroup for it ... the
limited information for SBS 2003 says it's SQL Server 2000 that's in the

Have sbs 2000 server, m: drive is down and want to know if I can copy the
priv.stm and edb files and pub.stm to new machine and use those if I recreate
same user names and passwords.   Whta would be the best solution to do this
without losing any email, scanmail still receiving ...

Having had SBS 2000 running ok (ish) for 4 years over last few months have
experienced worsening errors on very very slow start ups-waiting ages for
network connections to come up and and admin console to respond
Event log is now riddled with error messages including perflig ...

Situation:
Head Office: SBS2000 with 20 users
New Remote Office: SBS2003 Std. with 5 users
Both offices have a DSL internet connection with their own ISP, Exchange,

Client machines are unable to access Public SSL websites using https protocol
when logged into the domain network; However the same client machine has same
TCP/IP configuration (DHCP Enabled) can connect those websites when logged
into the local computer account.

Now I've added a brand new W2k3 member server to his domain.
I've setup TS on this Windows 2003 member server.
Installed microsoft access runtime and all tests are perfect.

Does anyone know any free sites that could quickly teach me about
Symantec Backup Exec small business server protection suite, i can't
seem to find any good links, all i get is symantec classes which you
have to inroll in.

When i create a user so that they can only login to a certain workstation
the user can't login to OWA.
Is there a workaround to this issue or is it by design.
