I don't know if this is the correct place to post or not but I am
experiencing an issue on one of our suers machines that has got me
confused...
The user when logged onto our company domain opens an Excel file with links

Is there a separate newsgroup dedicated to SBS 2003 or shall I use this one

Can someone please direct me to a link or a short step on how to configure
our Health monitor on our server? I have setup the email address; but nothing
is being received?

Setting up OWA ... seems only users that are part of the Administrators Group

When creating new files in a folder the permissions are not being inherited
from the top level folder although this is set. The Clients are a mixure of
Windows 2000 and XP Pro.
Also sometime when someone edits a file and then saves it everyone else

is there a way we can control how large a users temp. internet files can
groww to be? I do not see a particular setting for that in group policy..
We have terminal server users who alwyas seem to be outgrowing what we would
like and it has caused us problems...

I have taken over a client with SBS2000. The domain controller acts like it
doesn't know it's the domain controller. I can get AD running by using
recreatedefpol.exe tool, but then I have to reset all the service accounts
for them to run properly. 12 to 24 hours later it's back ...

I know that to install CALs on the SBS 2000 box I have to use a floppy disk.
How do you install Terminal Server CALs?

Terminal Server runs but don't allow remote connections.
NETSTAT don`t appear listenning the 3389 port (also QWSETUP don't show

My server has come a little unstuck and I am running out of ideas.
Initially it was a pop3 error, it could not download emails.
Following a microsoft support page I was told to re-run the ICW.
Since doing this, (Disabled ISA Packet Filtering) Only computers on the

I go through the entire installation, all 4 cd's, and the very last dialog

I was started looking at upgrading from SBS2000 to SBS2003 and see that very
soon SBS2003R2 will be available. Anyone know what if there will be an
upgrade available for 2000 to 2003R2 or will I have go from 2000 to 2003
then 2003R2?

Have just taken on a new client site.
They have SBS 2000 on a basic server using ISA and Exchange Server.
The Clients are using the Instant Messaging Client V5 that comes with the
