I am having trouble with inbound emails. New T1 line with Cisco 1700 router with Netgear Firewall FVS318v3. Internet connection good. Outbound emails good. I setup inbound rules on the firewall to allow ports 25 and 110 to external NIC.

I am trying to help a friend who I believe has Windows 2000 Server. He cannot logon because he no longer remembers his password for the Administrator. I tried going in via Safe Mode, thinking I would be able to reset the password, but I was not successful.

Can someone please explain to me the benefits without the long paragraphs. I have just acquired a new client who has sbs2000 with software assurance. Does this mean they would get a copy of SBS2003 premium without paying or I'm i dreaming.

I have two SBS 2000 systems that users have lost the ability to automatically send/receive e-mail from their Outlook 2003. They now have to manually press Send/Receive in Action/Tools. Outlook 2003 appears to be configured correctly.

Per subj. My domain name got an extra letter in it. The Netbios name is 'company', the computername is companySBS as is the logonserver.

An SBS2000 server locked up last night (had to hard boot), and looking at the log the last activity was an update from Trend. Anyone else had this? May of course not be Trend related.

I am running SBS 2000 and if I try to access a number of https sites ending in port :8443 from a client machine it would appear that SBS prevents access. I can however access the site on the SBS machine. The best I can tell ISA Management does not have any rules that block this,

How do you block emails address to invalid recipients in Exchange 2000? This is responsible for the majority of our spam... I have located it for Exchange 2003 but can not locate any information for Exchange 2000... Is there a way to do this or is there a third party software ...
