I would like to add another controller to my domain in order to have a
"backup server".  I need to re-install the domain controller and I can't
affor and downtime.  the domain controller has win2k server and exchange 2k.
Can I replicate the data and e-mails onto the backup server?

We have SBS2000 network (ISA 2k, Exchange 2k, WinServ 2k),
one static IP, two NICs(1 internal, 1 external), and use

We currently have our SBS online via an ADSL connection with a dynamic IP
address.
We do not run a web site presently but are looking at doing so later, we do
however have a registered domain name and receive email to that domain name.

2. AV deployed on the server at Exchange level - so virus

I have a Win2k server box I upgraded to SBS2000. The upgrade went well but I
had problems installing Exchange. Anytime I try to re-run the setup wizard
to add a component, I get a "Active Directory Configuration Error" at the

After establishing a VPN connection to my server, I am
unable to browse the internet with IE on the client.  The
page eventually times out with message "Cannot find
server or DNS Error".  I assume it has something to do

I have added 6 new emplyees to my SBS2000 network. They
are all running XP Pro and Office XP Pro and they all
have laptops. They cannot access their personal contacts
folders, calendars, etc. when they are not connected to

Hi people
The latest in a long line of disasters with my email system has just hit me.
I am getting no mail in (or out, I think) and the Event Viewer reports -
Event Source: Service Control Manager

Please help, I am trying to use MSN Messenger 6.1 with a webcam, I can see
the other person but they cant see me. The chat works without a problem but
no video or audio. Do I need to configure ISA and open a special port to
make this work???.  Thanks in advance.
