Spec'ing out a replacement Exchange 2003 OWA Server that needs to be ready for Exchange 2007 next year31 Mar 2008 22:35 GMT5
We run an Exchange 2003 shop and don't plan on migrating to Exchange 2007
until next year.  I have all the requirements for both the CPU & Memory but
am unsure on how to build out the disk subsystem for an Exchange 2007 OWA
server.  Unfortunately we have to replace an older OWA ...

I have few space and I decide to move this exchange 2000 to another new

Ok so I see that SP2 is a requirement for SP1.
I'm reading up on all the gotchas and I do not have any warm and fuzzy
feelings at this point.
So far, I understand that I really need to install W2K3 SP2 from the Windows
e2k3 upgrade to e2k731 Mar 2008 18:17 GMT2
I've got e2k3 SP2 cluster in w2k domain and forest and will be upgrading to
e2k7.
Can you please advise whether the new e2k7 server should be running w2k3 or
w2k8 - my manager is not keen on using w2k8 before sp1.

Since you can only install the mailbox role on a CCR or SCC Cluster I have
been thinking of setting up two servers with CAS, HUB and MX.
My plan i also to:
Set up SCR between the two servers in both directions (source and target)

Server. After setup the Exchange2007 for multiple servers with different

"companyname.local" Its a internal domain running windows

Where can I edit the information in the source part of the email to not show
my local domain (pc.domain.local)? Some email is being rejected due to email
address not matching...I have already created dns records for
smtp.domain.com
