I just installed Exchange 2007 and doing testing.  I had about 5 mailboxes
running and seemed to be fine.  I downloaded and installed MS updates and
restarted the server.  After restart, all five mailboxes disappeared.  I am

I'm running into some problems when I try to install an Exchange 2007
server.
My setup:
DC1 - Win2k (all FSMO roles except Schema Master)
Mail receiving for exchange31 Jul 2007 09:39 GMT4
I've read Exchange 2003 doesnt have pop3 connectors but how does Exchange
2003 receives any mail for its clients into the  mailbox ?

Good Morning Everyone,
I recently installed a wildcard cert, *.mydomain.com, on to the PPC along
with the owa.mydomain.com cert.
I'm getting the following error when trying to synce with Exchange:

-  Is it possible to have another exchange  2003 server replicating
the first one? I donot want to use any 3rd Party tools for this
replication.
- Both the exchange servers are in the same domain.

I am getting ready to install Exchange 2007 for a customer using the swing
migration.  
I have successfully done this in our office....it doesn't seem to be a big

It seems there is a bug in the detection routine when installing Exchange
2007.  We have a directory structure for our servers and have moved the DCs
out of the default location.  There is no mention of this requirement

I have Windows 2003 Std on a server which is the DC and am installing
Exchange Server on a seperate server with Windows 2003 x64 server installed.  
I have not installed IIS yet.  Can IIS be installed on the Exchange Server or
does it need to be on the server with the DC.
