I have a quick question... We're upgrading to Exchange 2003 from 5.5,
and putting the new Exchange on new hardware then migrating the mail
boxes over.  However, I'm not sure what happens to the client machines.
 The mail server they're using the old one, so when it goes off-line ...

A 2nd external domain, clakadv.com, needs to map to the internal domain
clak.com, so mail to john@clakadv.com gets to john@clak.com. Can you please
suggest how to implement this? Do I do it on the FE server or possibly create
an internal DNS alias?

We just installed Exchange and SP-1 and are using it with Outlook 2003. On
one of the client machines we are getting an error message that reads:
"Cannot start the reminder service". How can we fix this? Thanks.

in our setup i have configure exchange 2003 with priority 5 while we are
getting services from our Internet Service Provider also for mail server
with priority 10. when our internal server is on then we can get emails
directly but when our internal server is down, next day we are ...

We had a domain with a single 2003 Server running Exchange 2003 that had a
catastrophic failure recently(bad RAID controller completely corrupted all
the drives).  For various reasons, the domain name has been changed and the
server is being rebult from sratch.

I would like to install an Exchange server 2003 in our present DMZ, the
thing is the computers in the DMZ are not members of the domain.  I know
Exhange cannot be installed unless a computer is a member of a domain so I
would like to know how this can be achieved, that is to join ...

I lost the ability to open others' mailboxes after a successful moved
from 5.5 to 2K3 using 2K3 System Manager. Please tell me how I can
regain that ability.

I've spun my wheels for a week now trying to get this to work with no luck.
There are only 3 servers in this network; one is the 2003 SP1 AD domain
controller also running DNS/WINS/DHCP while the other is the ISA 2004 SP1
firewall and the last one is the Exchange 2003 SP2 running ...

I am preparing to build an Exchange server.  I am looking for suggestions

i have configured one mail server(external) with 10 priority and other
exchange 2003 server(internal) is configured with 5 priority but i am unable
to get all emails at lower priortiy mail server when i switch on server. is
there any configuration in 2003? plz help me why its not ...

FirstClass to Exchange... but I haven't found any answers...! Have any
of you successfylly migrated from FirstClass to Exchange? Does it exist
