Turned on Forms Based Authentication on our exchange server but still we are
prompted for username/password by an authentication box.
We are using SSL and I have restarted the WWW service on the exchange
server.

We are looking at transfering our current Exchange information to a new
server due to the machine it is currently residing on being unreliable.  The

In planning to install a exch2k server into my exch5.5 site I was
researching using the ADC. My question is if you configure a two-way CA
between exc and AD will user accounts in AD that have no mailbox configured
in 5.5 get one when AD objects are replicated to Exchange?

we have multiple domains using a single exchange 2000 server, one of our AD
has gone down. Is there a way to attach those mailboxes on the AD that has
gone down to a user on another AD?

I ?m working on restricting GAL so users only see there own GAL, but they
always see the same GAL no matter what.
I have few domains and they all se the same even if i have restricted it in
GAL in ex.. sys manager by setting  Deny All and to test it i have closed

Should I be able to install exchange 2003 on a windows 2003 member server
that is not a DC and has not got active directory on?
And does anybody know of any guides to basic config settings for exchange

For a small organization (20 users) we want to install 2 servers Server
2003(both domaincontrollers). Can I install on the first server Exchange
2003 and on the other File/Print services. Or is it wise to install Exchange
on a third server. There will be a frontend Exchange ...

I have installed an exchange 2000 and AD in the same computer. I put it in
the DMZ zone of the firewall with a public ip. I tried to create an email
account in the Outlook of the computer in the LAN of the firewall with an
private ip. It was successful when I created an POP3 ...

My outlook OWA is working, but I can not access outlook OWA through internal
network only if I am outside the network.
Any idea what can be wrong

We are running Exchange 2003 server
mail can be sent but nothing is getting through - ISP has supposedly updated
their MX records and all forwarding is to our external IP which matched the
IP of the firewall

We have Exchange 2003 Ent. on Windows 2003 Standard, want to upgrade the OS
to Win 2003 Enterprise. Can the upgrade be done without affecting Exchange?

We have an eval copy of Enterprise running. We just bought Standard. I have
been asked if we can rerun setup from Standard, and turn our Enterprise eval
in a licensed copy of Standard? My answer was, "I really don't think so, but
I'll ask".
