Treo Phone Calendar sync issues using MS Exchange Activesync30 Dec 2004 20:43 GMT2
I have set-up the MS Exchange activesync on my Treo 650 phone and the email
sync works fine but when it tries to sync the calendar I get the following
error message:
"There was a problem syncing events. (Sys 05E5) Server returned error for

I have read that Microsoft is discontinuing the pop3 connection to exchange
for security reasons. And after I update exchange the pop3 connection is
supposed to be disabled.
What are we supposed to use to connect to exchange with then? I have several

First off I would like to say thank you to anyone who posts a reply.
The issue is a newly deployed Exchange 2003 server is not properly sending
email written in Japanese lanaguage. This worked when the email server was
Exchange 2000 Sp3.

I have successfully got RPC over HTTP to work on a single server.
Unfortunately though, it takes ages for the initial connection to succeed.
Over broadband it takes around 3-4 minutes to connect the first time and
strangely the connection status ALWAYS has 3 fails.

There are two back end exchange 2000 which hosts a part of users separately.
All two servers set a same smart host which is another MTA in ISP. How can
an internal email going from one exchange to another exchange without going
to smarthost?

I have a customer with SmartPhones having issues replying or sending mail
from the devices.  They can access OMA through the devices and reply or
sendmail without issue.  They can ActiveSync with no problems, except for
what ever is in the Outbox on the mobile device (MPx 220) ...

When attempting to send an email to a particular domain.  The following error
is returned to the sending client.
"There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server.

I have a strange problem here. Our company is running 5.5 and we have some
users that have an AOL account. For some strange reason when addressing mail
to AOL users the mail gets stuck in queue and eventually gets rejected. This
only happens to AOL mail, everything else goes through ...

I need help. We are currently not receiving all emails incoming to our
organization. Does anyone how I can go about troublshooting this issue. For
example I sent 10 messages to my doma@care.org account, but only received 6.

High end server with sbs2003 standard (migrated from sbs 4.5), along with
Exchange 2003 standard. We use a dlink di-304 ISDN router for internet
connection. In the server are two NICs, ip's are 10.0.0.2 for the LAN and
