SCR Cluster29 Jul 2008 20:11 GMT3
I am looking for a DR clustering solution not HA one. I believe SCR is the
way to go. My question is, can you setup an SCR cluster against a single
exchange server (one with no other clustering involved like CCR, LCR, SCC).
The end product woud be a single exchange 2007 server in ...
CCR & MSDTC Service Settings29 Jul 2008 14:50 GMT2
Below article says, Microsoft only supports running MSDTC on cluster nodes as
a clustered resource.
You may receive error messages when you start MSDTC on a node of a cluster
server - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305742
MSDTC on 2007 SCC?28 Jul 2008 22:46 GMT3
I've read a few places that the DTC resource on an Exchange 2007 server is
not recommended or support.  Maybe that is for a CCR cluster, I don't know.
I have a MSDTC resource on my new 2007 SCC that was added automatically by
setup - I did not manually create this resource.  ...
SSL IMAP28 Jul 2008 11:53 GMT1
I have an A/P Exchange 2003 SP2 cluster which I'm trying to apply an internal
cert for SSL IMAP.  The cert was successfully created viaESM and installed on
the primary node which clients connect without any issue.  When the IMAP
cluster resource is failed over to the passive node ...
Virtualize Exchange 200727 Jul 2008 09:25 GMT9
I am hearing alot good things about running Exchange 2007 on VMware, infact
our VM vendor sugested that if we virtualize Exchange 2007, we would not be
impacted performance, and we would not need to use CCR or SCR for HA and DR.
We could setup a VM machine with 120 gigs of ram ...
Calculate Bandwidth for CCR Cluster25 Jul 2008 00:42 GMT3
I am looking to deploy a Exchange 2007 CCR cluster at 2 office locations. I
will be replacing an existing Exchange 2003 server. I need to determine the
bandwidth required for cluster communication, transaction shipping anf MAPI
traffic.
2007 SCC setup question24 Jul 2008 18:03 GMT5
I'm setting up a new SCC cluster and have a few questions about what the end
config will look like.  I see two cluster resource groups: the windows
cluster group and the exchange virtual server cluster group.
The windows cluster group will have the cluster IP addy, name, and ...
restoring from cluster to standalone24 Jul 2008 15:31 GMT4
My company has two exchange 2003 clusters. One cluster hosts the users
mailbox and one host the public folders. I have to move them to
standalone exchange without the clusters (i.e. two server without
cluster and one for mailbox and one for public folder). I can't find the
exchange 2003 standby cluster procedures24 Jul 2008 15:29 GMT3
I have two exchange clusters (both two nodes A/P) (one hosting all
mailbox store and one hosting public folders). I would like to build two
single node standby cluster and move both exchange cluster to these

CCR AD site23 Jul 2008 20:39 GMT8
I am reading about creating CCR clustering in Exchange 2007 sp1, and the
documentation says i must streatch an AD site to accomodate clustered
mailbox servers. Is this true if i am running windows server 2008? Doesnt
this defeat the purpose of having the ability to run a CMS in a ...
Recover to original state SCR23 Jul 2008 13:41 GMT2
After following some scarce information on setting up failover I found
on the web, and successfully failing over to a target SCR in my lab
environment, I'm kind of lost on how to get back to the original state
once the target is back online.
Exchange 2007 CCR on DAS - Cluster Validation22 Jul 2008 17:26 GMT6
Good Afternoon,
We are in the process of implementing Exchange 2007 (on Server 2008
Enterprise OS).  After some research, we've decided to cluster our 2 mailbox
servers using CCR with the data and logs stored on direct attached storage
Move Transaction logs to another partition on a SAN22 Jul 2008 16:21 GMT2

task.
Here's the background info
We have an Exchange 2003 Cluster, this weekend we are going to migrate

servers.  They are physically split between 2 datacenters in Dallas but are 1
organization and connected by a GigaMAN circuit.  We currently have approx
3400 users and 6500 mailboxes.
