In my organization it is exchange 2003 two node clustered environment. Sometime back we had a planned change, hence I failover the cluster from one node to other. After this, it has started sending e-mail via the physical nodes ip and not from the virtual IP.

Can anyone help me please? We have 2 node E2K3 cluster environment. Due to some reason we are not able to take backup. We are using Legato networker for backup. It is able to take backup from all other servers except E2K3 cluster.

Env: Windows 2003 Ent, Exchange 2003 Ent, A/P cluster, one EVS When i unplug the network cable from Prod LAN (heartbeat still connected) to simulate NIC failure. Failover did not happen, i only see the Virtual IP Address turned to failed stage and no further action.
