I'm running a clustered Exchange 2003 with around 1000 mailboxes, and I need to deploy OWA. 1.) Will I need to take Exchange out of service while I'm installing F.E. 2.) Can F.E be installed on the LAN and configured then taken in to the DMZ.

I have done the following: Allow everyone access to OWA via https. Allow Outlook clients to connect to the exchange server through RPC over https.

One client running Outlook 2002 connected to Exchange 2003 is ALWAYS offline despite every attempt to get her Outlook back online. Outlook opens "normally" but offline icon in lower right corner remains. Doing Send/Receive updates her.

I just purchased Exchange 2003 Enterprise to upgrade my existing Ex2K. I also purchased 275 CALs for it. In my media pack, I got a CD for Outlook 2003 Standard with a license key on the back of it. Does this mean that I can install this on my client PCs?

I am having problems downloading the S/MIME control from OWA (Options->Download button). When I click on the button, I get a javascript error in the "dlg_options.js" file, saying that the SetCifFile is not supported in the active setup object.

I recently loaded Norton Ativirus Corp. Edition 10.0. It seems that since then Outlook takes forever to open emails. Anyone having this issue or similar. Does anyone know any tricks to speed up Outlook.

My wife works for the US Govt and an IT guy worked on her computer over lunch and when she returned her mailbox was completely empty. As far as she knew there was nothing wrong with her mail before he worked on the machine.
