ok to remove "Exchange Migrated Objects" OU in Active Directory?19 Nov 2008 15:14 GMT-
We have a project going to clean up our Active Directory. My boss saw
the "Exchange Migrated Objects" OU that was created during our
migration from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. The only sub-OU in it
that contains anything is the Recipients OU. He wants to move all
MailFlow between Exchange 2003 and Exchange 200719 Nov 2008 07:00 GMT-
I have exchange 2003 running in standalone mode and Exchange 2007 running
Single Copy Cluster in virutal server 2005 for testing purpose.

today i tried to disable external read receipts by adding the
following transport-rule to my Exchange 2007:

We are unable to prevent ooo messages from being sent to originator when
emails are sent to distribution groups.
We have deselected the check box on the Exchange Advanced tab of the
distribution group but ooo are still sent to the originator.

I have a Windows 2003 R2 SP2 Forest including a root domain and 2 child
domains (one as account domain and one as resource domain). I also installed
an Exchange 2007 sp1 server on the resource domain.
My first problem is:

i have an e2k7 sp1 server. we have a bus. unit that has their own email
domain, and this needs to appear as a seperate entity to the outside world.
i have added the 2nd domain as authoritative and creted a policy to generate
their reply address which works.

I have upgraded our exchange from 2003 to 2007. Our response point system is
no longer able to email our voicemails. It is giving us an authentication
error, even though we are using a domain admin account to authenticate.
Anybody have a solution for us?

I've got a Problem:
If I cancel a meeting (2 people, 1 room) in the calendar of the resource
(room) remains the meeting as "canceled".
I have to delete this entry manually.

I have a feeling this can't be done but just in case. In an inter-org
scenario, one Exch2007 and the other Exch2003. Inter-org tool and GALsync
worked fine to provision the contacts and F/B.
