I am trying to use the IFilters to extract the text out of the document for our Search Application. For the most Part it seems to work fine but there are a few documents which give me an error "Catastrophic failure"

I have a dedicated Index Server with approx 30 catalogs. When I try to create another the Property Set does not fully populate. But if I create a catalog pointing to another server the Property Set populates fully. So I suspect that there is some type of communcation problem

Tried to create a new catalog on a server with IS running, and specified the location of another one of our websites located on a different server, i.e., http://www.otherserver.com/ and got an error "invalid location"... I'm assuming IS can only index content on the local drive ...
