Hi Folks; I'm going to be using IIS 5.0's Indexing Service as the search engine for my website. I finally found it's location and ran a test query. It seems it's not searching the .PHP pages on my site.

I have 2 questions: 1) Is it true that you can query a remote servers catalog using asp and the index query language? If yes, then do they have to be in the same Domain? for example:objQuery.Catalog = "query://www.somehost.com/web"

I have a catalog that has a remote directory to index, the directory has been added to the catalog's list of directories to index as a UNC share. For some reason IS randomly adds this UNC share to other my catalogs as a virtual directory.

We are migrating from IIS 4.0 to IIS6.0. Web site is running fine and so is the index server, but the query to search the site does not return any results instead I get, page can not be found. We were using a 'htm', 'idq' and 'htx' file and it worked fine with IIS4.0.
