I'm going to be using IIS 5.0's Indexing Service as the search engine for my
website. I finally found it's location and ran a test query. It seems it's
not searching the .PHP pages on my site.

I have 2 questions:
1) Is it true that you can query a remote servers catalog using asp and the
index query language? If yes, then do they have to be in the same Domain?

Hi. I'm trying to setup an intranet search page which incorporates two
catalogs which have NTFS permissions set to restrict access. I have the
catalogs setup OK on the W2k server, and I can query them successfully
from the MMC. At this point the permissions are retained - users only

I have a strange Problem with WDS: It does not index the word
"IDM_SHOWALLTAGS".
