When I'm searching a document with an hebrew name through
the MMC built-in "Query the Catalog" I get some results.
But, when I search the same value through the query.asp
the query returns: No documents matched the query.

I am interested in a search tool for a workstation (Win 2K

A parent directory of <5000 files totalling <2 gigs.

I'm researching different indexing and search technologies, and have a
question regarding Windows Indexing Service.
Is there a way to set it up to automatically index removable media,

Search through search.asp, using IXSSO, does not find documents in virtual
folder, only documents in physical folders. The same search through MMC,
however, finds documents in both physical and virtual folders. Can IXSSO
search virtual roots (and how)?

I am trying to index my blog at http://msmvps.com/OBTS/ using my
SharePoint portal crawler.  I have created an external content that
