I have just created a new catalog with several hundreds of .doc-files on my c-drive. I started the indexing server manually, but after half an hour the default catalogs are catalogued, but my new catalogue isn't. I am using win2003, and Indexing Server was never used before.

Using Windows Server 2003. Having problem with Indexing Service returning faulty hits on our website. I use html/htx/idq. It returns links to existing documents, but to documents which doesn't even contain the word I search for. I guess it's the index that is corrupt in some way ...

We have a bunch of files that we're storing on a data drive (D:\WebApps\AppFiles\) on our webserver (nbdv01). This folder is shared (\\nbdv01\AppFiles). We have create a single catalog called "Finance" that has only has the above directory specified with the above UNC path ...

Index Server has been running fine, and today we found out that it is stopped. It works fine again after we start the Indexing service again. Do you know why the indexing service stop by itself ? Thanks.
