Can anyone direct me on where to begin to use index server? I'm completely new to it. Where do I find it, how do I use it from a .NET web application, whatever articles can help

How do I enable index server to perform fuzzy queries. If I search
for Texas it will return all results. If I search for Tex* it returns
0. Help!

We're using idq/htx, and fuzzy $. However, the results
don't seem to change when we use booleans or quotation
marks. We're using $all for all searches. Is that what

Is it possible to open up a word / Excel / Powerpoint / PDF etc file within
the browser window when the user clicks on one of the results, even if they
do not have MS Office installed?

I transfered my web and therewith the query-pages onto a new hardware. All
Software is at the same version-level as on the old hardware.
Everything works fine but the highlighting doesnt.

box that is running Index Server? We have a win2k server that serves as our
primary web server and we just reloaded it from scratch because our catalog
was getting corrupted about every 1-2 days. Less than 48 ...

server from a non-file source without resorting to creating XML or HTML
