Can anyone direct me on where to begin to use index server?  I'm completely new to it.  Where do I find it, how do I use it from a .NET web application, whatever articles can help

How do I enable index server to perform fuzzy queries.  If I search
for Texas it will return all results. If I search for Tex* it returns
0.  Help!

I transfered my web and therewith the query-pages onto a new hardware. All
Software is at the same version-level as on the old hardware.
Everything works fine but the highlighting doesnt.
