Playing with this stuff for a few weeks now. But not

we installed the Adobe IFilter for the MS IndexServer.
The installation run without any errror but the
Server can not find any pdf files on the server, but there are a lot.

Further to previous posts, my investigations now lead me to believe that
the Microsoft iFilter just will not index any node below a depth of 2! Can

way to kick the thing in the rear-end and force a reindex of a catalog RIGHT
NOW -- regardless of server loading, user active, and all the other things

I'll stipulate that subject facility isn't designed into IS, but I wonder
whether some creative type here hasn't been able to develop some way of
accomplishing that.  (That is, given a document, find its best/closest
match.)

We have been using a date custom metatag with HTMLPROP.dll to sort
results returned by Index Server. However we have sudenly started
getting 'no results found' and it seems the custom tags are being
returned empty. We have checked that htmlprop.ini & htmlprop.dll are
