I have IIS SMTP setup on my local dev box - some of the ISPs were blocking it, such as Comcast - I contacted them and they removed my IP/domain from their blocked list. Question is - I am trying to route all SMTP mail through IIS to my exchange

My setup is: Our hostingserver with iis and smtp installed in a workgroup. We also have a internal domain with exchange 2003 installed. Websites on our hostingserver sends out e-mails do external domains and our internal domain.

With IIS 6's SMTP server, is it possible to set up a remote domain that uses TLS + Client Certificate for outbound connections? The only certificate setting I see is for inbound SMTP connections. If not, I'm certain Exchange can do it, but is there a free alternative?

I am having a problem setting up SMTP in IIS7. I matched (as close as possible) the settings from IIS6 SMTP settings to the IIS7 settings server and the mail is not being sent. When select the “Store e-mail in pickup directory” the message does get posted.

I have a web mail form embedded in an asp.net 1.1 web site, but it won't send mail on the R2 platform. Regular 2003 server enterprise standard mail works fine. Telnet SMTP mail not an issue.
