Webdav on Server 2008 doesn't seem to support EFS. Even tried R2.
If I try to copy a file to webdav server that has EFS on it, it asks to
remove.
If I turn on encryption on a file on Webdav share, it corrupts the file.

I have IIS 5.1 on my Windows XP media computer. But every time I type
"http://localhost" in my browser, I'm asked for a password.
I looked at IIS with the IIS Manager, and I do have anonymous access
enabled.

I have a VC++ CGI application that shall work with a database (for now a MS
Access database) through the ODBC driver.
The code (see below) works fine when embedded in ordinary applications, and

users keep getting "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items".
Whether they say yes or no to the message about only displaying the secure

I have seen numerous recommendations that says that it is a no-no to run IIS
on a domain controller. What I haven't seen is any solid/sound reasons for
that?
On non-domain controller server, the passwords are stored in the local SAM
