I have a question about IIS certificate chain. How to make IIS server to send all certificate, including root CA cert, in TLS/SSL Server hello message to client ? What I am seeing is thet IIS server presents all certificate in the chain except root CA cert.

Some years ago , I set up an Internal server on my domain as a CA. It will be expiring soon and I need to renew the certificate. The CA is used for , OWA, Live Communication Server (LCS) , RPC over HTTP , and some users seems to be using EFS.

Server was working with no issues and hadn't had any updates in a few weeks of any kind. Last saturdery our web site was not accessible due to anonymous access prompting for credentials and then showing 401.3 acl issues when you clicked out of the window.

Is this still an issue with IIS 7.0? I've seen the doc on how to disable them using the registry but when I go to the reg key on a default install of IIS 7 on Win 2k8, I don't see subkeys that the artilce says should be there.
