We have a home grown application written in .net 1.0 sp2 which on occassion
the web servers will get a high number of req/sec (in ASP applications object
in perfmon) which will cause an increase in CPU, sometimes to 100%
For a reason we have not be able to indentify a users ...

when doing an iisreset, i noticed that starting all related procesess is
much, much quicker than stopping them, i.e. iisreset /stop takes much more
time than iisreset /start.
does anybody know a reason for this?
