is there a way to programmatically set the default document from a deployment project for ASP.NET. My default page is named default.htm and I'd like to set it as the topmost default document in IIS site properties using the deployment project, is this possible? Tried to google but ...

I configured a local smtp server in Windows 2000 Server which allows only some users to send email remotely through authentication. It works fine and it is running but when I open IIS console it's nowhere to be seen.

I'm new to IIS. We're having problems accepting web requests from a Visual Basic Windows App. They work fine as long as we don't get more than say 50 requests coming in at a time. After that the Windows App that sending the requests in starts saying it can't find the web

When I make some changes to a web paage for our non-proft, then when I try to look at the web page, to make sure it looks the way I want it to; It doesn't show up, right away. Changes to a web page, take a day in order to show up on our site.

More than a mont i'm facing one problem. I'm running a website on Windows server 2003. Usualy once a week website stops responding. Stopping and starting website doesn't help. Restarting WWW publishing services, doesn't help too.
