I recently came accross the RegFree COM functionality available on XP and 2003 servers. Does anybody know if it is possible to instantiate a COM object (that is not registered) from an IIS ASP Script using CreateObject, using RegFree COM ?

I read somewhere that Integrated Windows Authentication has a double hopping issue. What is 'double hop'ping issue? What is the workaround? Tried to find more details about it but couln't get much info. Kindly help.

We have a site coded in ASP.NET and see w3wp.exe crash every once in a while. it also runs high on memory. Here is the IIS State log, If someone here can determine what's happening in this log it would be much appreciated.

IIS 5.1 (XP SP2 is hanging on me) I can open ASP and html just fine but aspx 1.1 just hang. for the first 5 min or so nothing special happens then the cpu hits 100% and everything just drags

My web application causes hang ups on the iis. The only solution so far has been to restart the iis. But this is no good. So I innstalled the iisstate, and when I got the hang up I ran iisstate, and this is the log it produced.

Hi all - I've been lurking about trying to learn to read my own IISState Logs - and while I can pick out some things, I am not yet comfortable that I'm learning anything yet :-) I'm hoping to receive some help reading an IISState Log.
