The following site --  http://serverName/path/to/file.gif   did not solve my
.gif problem. The page says that it can not be displayed. Any suggestions?

I want to check some log files from a server using internet explorer. I
enabled a virtual folder that browse the server's folder than contains the
files but I cannot open the.log extension files. If I rename them to .txt
from the server, they are downloadable:

I habe a windwos 2003 Server SP1, IIS 6.0
The IIS Service crashes sporadically. In the Event log occors following
messages:
