I've configured FTP access on our SBS 2008 server using AD user isolation.
It has been working well all along until last week sometime.
If "User1" attempts to access the ftp site, they enter a username and
password, and even though entered correctly, the server does not accept it ...

I have a Windows Server 2003 and I have FTP setup on it using port 2121.  
Internally I can get to it just fine but when I go thru the firewall from the
outside it times out and I get a blank page.  Initially I thought it was the
Cisco ASA firewall so I opened up a case with Cisco ...

I've had a FTP site up for some time and recently I've started getting the
426 error when a client tries to get a file.  Here is what shows in my log,
17:51:56 10.1.30.45 [102]sent /ALL_Upld.txt 426 64
sc-status = 426

We are unable to access ftp site on win 2000 server through IE  if user
login password contains @ symbol but we can able acces ftp site with the same
credentails on win 2003 server.
example:In our company we have ftp server ip 10.0.0.2

I have a Windows command line ftp client question.  If there is a
better group for this, let me know.
I'm attempting to GET a file that has spaces in the filename, so I'm
quoting it.  But I get an error:
xp sp3 error 50001 May 2009 10:46 GMT1
I have 5 PC's three with Vista and 2 with XP SP3. The FTP server is on an xp
pro box with port 20 and 21 open.
I am trying to establish an active connection using ftp.exe.
The vista systems work fine but both xp systems show the error 500 invalid
