Sorry to post to several newsgroups but wasn't sure which would be most
appropriate.
Does anyone have good advice on ftp server software which can be installed
and run from a Windows desktop?

I have a Windows 2008 server that's running FTP service.  I can login to the
ftp site as the Administrator but then when I try to download a file it tells
me "access denied".  
I checked the NTFS security on the folder and the file and I have Full
2 FTP accounts -- both users log into same home directory14 Nov 2008 15:26 GMT1
I have local user A who uses ftp to login -- In IIS manager, the FTP site
directory is set on Home Directory tab of FTP Sites (D:\Research\A)

I checked www.iis.net, noticed that only Windows 20008 and Windows Vista
were mentioned as platforms for IIS 7.  But, because I know I'll be asked,
can IIS 7 also run on Windows 2003 or Windows XP?
