I have SMall Business Server 2003. I want to setup FTP server on it so that I can send large files from "outside" to the server on my home LAN. How do I do that?

Hi, I've gone through checking this a thousand times now and can't get this FTP side to work. I keep getting 530 cannot login home directory inaccessable yet the directory tree seems to be set up correctly. I'm using my name and password as I would use to login to the W3K

In FTP I would like to list the file in the local folder the Context of the local directory. There is a "DIR" This will give the list of files from the FTP server. There is also "!" it looks like Windows is not recognizing it.

we are running Web Server Edition and we have troubles with FTP. When files above approx. 5 MB are uploaded to server, files are successfuly uploaded, but no confirmation come from server, so communication failed without any log event or error message. Thank you very much for any ...

I have a folder in my ftproot: Z:\Inetpub\ftproot\public\tom I keep getting access errors trying to ftp to this folder. I have no problem accessing and writing to public.

Server A W3K server with FTP site. I'm setting up a Virtual Directory with a UNC to a share on Server B, fo security, do I need to make a local user account on Server A for FTP access , then add this user to the Secuity permissions of the share on Server B.
