Hi all; We are running our website on Server2000, sp4. We use frontpage and
sharepoint to edit the website and subwebs, but we have one user who is
adamant about using dreamweaver and ftp to update his subweb, and we need to
allow it.

I am trying to set my ftp server to use a custom port.
In IIS, I set the port to be custom and open that port on the firewall.
The traffic seems to go through fine, until I need to run a command on the
ftp server. I am able to log in with existing credentials, but can't enter

Binary upload reports "success" though incomplete, then stops.  Report
indicates an upload speed of 100 mbits per second.

I have an IIS 5.0 server with two virtual FTP directories, each one
with two different ACLs (lists of IPs allowed access to). For example:
first ftp accepts connections from IPs A and B.
second can ba accessed from A, B and C.

This is a problem that has started quite recently.
Some users can login with FTP, and some cannot.
They all work from different locations on the internet, different IPs and
computers, clients, and all are outside our firewall.

I can't seem to find anything on the subject of multi-part downloads.  Does
IIS 6 FTP support downloading a large file into smaller parts (say a 1GB file
broken down into 5 200MB files simultaneously)?  
I know other FTP servers can do this but what about IIS 6 FTP?

I am in charge of a lab with roughly 20 users. Everyone has a user
