I need to set up a central instance of FTP, that can be used to set up multiple FTP sites on remote servers via UNC paths. Can anyone tell me the difference between creating a New FTP site for each UNC path, or creating virtual directories to each UNC path.

Above are the usual error codes when trying to connect... I have set up an FTP site under the default in IIS 6.0. Allow anonymous is checked, and I have set up two users in their own directories as per KB 201771 and KB 555018. None of the accounts is able to connect via an FTP

I want to host a ftp server : My config : WinXPprof, IIS 5.1, router -> redirecting to specif computer is taken care of, I use port 8250 instead of 20 or 21, (20,21 are blocked by isp). Port 8250 is allowed by router.
