HIS System Requirments
I want to setup Host Integration Server on a Windows 2000 Server box...I was
told that it will only install if I make it an Active Directory Server.
Can I get HIS to run without making it an AD Server?

I had a catostrophic failure of our SNA 4.0 Server
yesterday, and had to rebuild the whole thing from the
ground up. I have everything running exactly as it was
before, except for one issue: The shared folders. My

Can anyone confirm this? We're using:
udb 8.1.4 on win2k sp6a
MS OLEDB driver for DB2 from HIS2K sp1
Was using udb 8.1.0.36 with no issues at all, then applied fixpak 4

I'am having problems conneting to a DB2 database ( ver. 8.1.3 running on
Windows 2000) using tcp/ip. I get the same problem with both the Ole Db and
the ODBC drivers: " ...-Could not connect to specified host SQLState:08S01,
SQLCODE: -603".  The client is also on Windows 2000.

Does anybody know what the following errors mean :
(2137) The TCP transport received a CICS TRM reply length that is

Hello all.  I hae just installed .NET Framework on our server and it
seems now that all connections made via web site no longer work.  I have
not found anything concrete that describes this problem.  Is there
anyone that know what I need to do?

Can I add a Windows 2003 server with HI2000 into an

We Installed HIS 2000 on Win2000.
I would know whether a maximum number of 802.2 connections exists.

I configure my RE to times out after 300 seconds (5
minutes) using the COMTI Manager -> My RE -> Properties ->
LU6.2 tab -> "Timeout if no response" check box. I've
assignd one of my COMTI TLB to that RE.

I seem to remember that HIS 2000 comti (server app) would
work on win2k server but not win2k pro...
Does ayone know if it will work on XP pro?

visual studio.net and everything is going on fine. This
was established without any userid and password on host
listener.

I've currently got HISv5 with MMCSNA 5.0.0.798 running on
an NT4 box with a bunch of SQL DTS packages, migrating
data from an AS400 through the OLE DB for DB2 providers.
