I have a situation where on installing the first Exchange 2003 server into an existing Exchange 5.5 Organisation, the installation of the System Attendant fails due to the Windows 2003 "domain controllers in use are not responding" resulting in an incomplete Exchange 2003 install.

I have an Exchange 2003 server handling mails for several domains and the mails themselfs work fine, the NDRs however do not. The setup is: domain.local is the local domain, Exchange does not handle mail for this

OK. heres somethign really wierd. I have a front end/back end setup. Front end is in dmz. Back end is inside. Its a TEXT BOOK SETUP! It works GREAT. Now, on the DMZ with my front end is my SPAM FIREWALL. THis thing is worth its weight in PLATINUM.

I just realized that since installation(2 monthss ago) some email received via a POP3 connector are stuck in the categorizer (looking at the message tracking center...it stops at "SMTP:massage submitted to categorizer")

When some of my users send emails and emails with attachments, the body of the emails come out blank. It is even blank in the sent items folder.

I recently installed exch server 2003 on windows 2000 srvphk 3 machine. did not receive any errors during installation. We receiving mail when I noticed that I was being used as a relay. I stopped the SMTP virtual serverand stopped the relay.
