We are completing an upgrade from Exchange 5.5 to 2003.
All the 5.5 servers, ADC and SRS are gone and Exchange 2003 is in Native
Mode.
We have 7 Recipient Policies in place from the 7 Exchange 5.5 Sites that

Does there have to be an SMTP Virtual Server in IIS or is it sufficient to
manage SMTP through System Manager?  I ask this because we have 2 NICs on
our Exchange 2000 server SP3.  One is xxx.xxx.xxx.4 and the other is
xxx.xxx.xxx.5.  We have SMTP set up to use the xxx.xxx.xxx.5 ip ...

Our Exchange 2000 server up till Tuesday pm was delivering internal
emails no problems. Now when an internal email is sent it sits in the
Outlook outbox for many seconds (20 or 30 or longer) before it leaves

Having trouble forcing all outbound (SMTP) message to go as plain text.
Policy is set per Technet article 319252, with all settings supposedly set
to send messages to foreign domains in plain text, but messages still being

I have enabled mail archiving for mailbox store.Archive is
working fine for all sent and recieved mails.But does not
happen on mails in "bcc" field.
Can someone help.
