NDR: Reverse DNS entry31 May 2004 05:00 GMT2
Hi, Getting an NDR: The server sending your mail does not
have a reverse DNS entry. Connection rejected. I cannot
ping the recipients mail server either. I wanted to
manually add a PTR in the reverse lookup zone. Any ideas?

I have the following exchange setup
Server 1 in site 1 - Main bridgehead server and incoming server for the
entire exchange organisation and outgoing for the site 1.
Server 2 in site 2 - server with routing group connector to server 1 and

Could this prevent a mail server from receiving e-mails, e-
mails with large attachments or just general delivery
problems in general (meaning receiving mail)

I have a question of modus operandi:
I set up my smtp connector using the reccomendation from a
user in a previous post of mine as follows (text below).

Created a single SMTP connector and added the virtual
SMTP server a the bridgehead, I have entered 2 smarthost
entries for 2 different ISPs.

I reinstalled IIS and then reinstalled Exchange 2000 and
now I cannot send any emails.Receving is fine.The
outgoing emails are not working.I can see all mails in
the queue and I reveice a delayed message report.

the message for later identification) but I can't find how to make it
