I had recently discovered that although my Exchange Server
is set not to relay, that the local admin accoutn had been
compromised. That allowed them to send mail as if they
were from our domain, etc. (Thanks to Beth Belluardo)I had

We have a Active-Passive Exchange 2000 Cluster-
We don't allow NDR's to internet.
On one of our Node, In Application Event log, there are lot of events
occuring with Event ID 756.  (Example given below). This is generated
mails to another routing group are stuck30 Oct 2003 14:50 GMT2
I've 2 E2K routing groups, Site A and B, connected via RGC.
When I send to an internal recipient in from Site A to B, the message is
able to deliver successfully.
When I send mail from Site B to a recipient in Site A, the message went to

We had a situation that somehow wiped out the E00 log
files so that I couldn't do a recovery.  I tried the

I have a local domain named xxxx.lan and a internet/mail
domain xxxx.nl on a SBS 2000 server
I'm having problems getting mail true to the postmaster of
the Internet domain. It keeps getting bounced if the

I'm looking for a product that could add domain check by looking up DNS
records on incoming mail at the SMTP virtual Server. This is to prevent
SPAM.

Don't know what I did but it happened after installing the
latest patch.
Now all incoming and outgoing mail is stuck in the Default
SMTP Queue called "Messages awaiting directory lookup."

network. now i want to restrict group of users from
sending and receiving internet mails. only they must send
and receive local mailings.
