MTA Service stops, starts, stops, starts........29 Aug 2003 12:56 GMT1
Exchange 2000 Sp3 with Rollup patch installed. Mail is
working fine but MTA service is stopping and starting
constantly. It starts, remains running for about 5 seconds
then stops again. And so it goes on.

I have a 2000 server running in a 2000 AD environment that
has been working fine for a month and all of a sudden I
can't recieve external email.  I am not getting any event
messages and I have turned all the mta pop3 and imap

   Can I append a text in all outbound messages in MSExchange 2000?
Somebody know how-to?

On our exchange server the smtp queue is stuck, nothing gets delivered to
the information stores although external mail still comes in the queue.
Also mail sent from internal outlook clients to other internal users stays
in the user's outbox.

I am running exchange 5.5 on a windows 2000 server and
everything is running fine however I would like all the
mail that goes to a recipient on the server to be
forwarded to an email address outside the exchange site

From MSE SMTP - All mails are reaching all other domain
except insel.ch. "Replied" emails will not reach the
orginal senders on insel.ch. Message will bounce back in
48 hours with a non-deliverable message. Test to bogus

Details:
- Exchange2000 server on Win2k server SP3
- Email server is working, has been for 5 months now.
- All email is comming in fine

I have a Windows 2000 SBS Server (Exchange 2000 SP2) with
SP4 for W2k.  I get the following event logged for some
(not all) outbound SMTP connections:
A unexpected error is forcing EXPS to close the SMTP

I setup a new exchange 2k server and can only send mail to
a limited number of domains. Most messages get stuck in
outbound queues. The NDR reads: This message was rejected
due to the current administrative policy

When anyone in our company tries to send an email to this
domain (xo.com), it get reject with the following error
message:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended

I talked with a tech at my ISP and he said that they have

I have Exchange 2000, SP3 on a Small Business Server Box.  95% of external
email is fine, but a few known good domains are queueing up with teh
following: "The remote server did not respond to a connection attempt."
Server has 1 NIC, firewall is the DSL router.  Event ID 4000,

Here's my situation -
Yesterday, our mail server (E2K SP3) stopped sending mail
outbound. I can find no obvious reason for this and the
message queue is backing up. I've ran some basic DNS
POP3 EventID 1011 error 0x7e19 Aug 2003 17:42 GMT1
I've got a new Exchange server, the only server in its
domain, which is the child of a parent that has Exchange
running.  Whenever I attempt to authenticate with POP3
using accounts in this domain and on this server, I get:
Unable to receive inbound mail from internet19 Aug 2003 02:56 GMT1
I can send on Intranet and internet. Can receive on
intranet but not from internet.  I have sbs 2k, using exc
2k.  I beleive I have all service packs.
Any suggestions??
