The ExBPA scan takes about 4 minutes per Exchange server in a working Exchange environment. Is this a reasonable estimate for the Health Scan + Connectivity Scan? Thanks guys, keep up the good work!

This question is in relation to a Windows 2003 Server which is installed with Exchange 2003 standard. Today I registered the acctinfo.dll to get the extended account information in the ADUC (ie last logon times, SID etc) and when I did this the Exchange

Our Exchange server (2003 std.) has been running rather slowly and we were overdue for a defrag, so I dismounted the information stores and ran eseutil /d. When I do this, a JET_errReadVerifyFailure - 1018 is generated. Running isinteg states that I have zero errors.

MOM 2005 is reporting an error on our Exchange server: Error running ExBPA run on <ServerName> with exit code 8. I have not been able to find anything that explains exit code 8 - (plenty of information on exit codes 3 and 9). Please point me in the right direction.

I'm looking for a tool(s) to parse message tracking logs. I currently have Sawmill, but it get things quite right. A single message will be listed 20 times in the log, as it is accepted, routed, stored, etc. Sawmill counts it 20 times.

On a SBS2k3 server with exchange 2k3 and just 10 users mail is retrieved from a global POP box. Lately we are getting a large amount of spam (uce). I have looked at MS intelligent message filtering, but am unsure if it will work with inbound mail from POP.
