We have a problem with a Spammer (ab)using our Exchange System.
As soon as I switch the SMTP Protocol Anonymous Authentification off the
spammer is gone, while Mails can be sent from the authorized users, which is
good.

         same Routing group.
         SMTP Smarthost: Exim / Linux

Hi,
i have an exchange 2000 server behind an ISA 2000 firewall and yesterday the
server could not connect and delivers message to some remote hosts. There is
no entry in the SMTP logs. the Exchange server's system event logs where
