My exchange server got hit my a virus the other day and it got me thinking... I could tell where the virus was coming from in the headers of the message. I could see the senders IP address, and how it connected with the gateway

In my Default smtp vitual server queues there is a domain administrator created that has emails not sent from internaly but are bound to outside communication, most of the email contain un-solicit subject and tend to fill up

We have an Exchange 2000 server that is not reporting any errors in its logs, has up to date AV protection and has had multiple full manual scans performed with incoming and outgoing AV protection. All is clear.

Setup exchange 2000, no one is receiving mail. I can see mail in the que but it is not routing to the mailboxes. I can send out anywhere but nothing is getting to the mailboxes.
