My exchange server got hit my a virus the other day and it
got me thinking... I could tell where the virus was coming
from in the headers of the message. I could see the
senders IP address, and how it connected with the gateway

In my Default smtp vitual server queues there is a domain
administrator created that has emails not sent from
internaly but are bound to outside communication, most of
the email contain un-solicit subject and tend to fill up

For some domains, the mails sent to these domains don't go through and stay forever in the SMTP virtual server queues. No notification is sent to the sender of the message to notify him about the problem, so I have no idea of the cause of the problem

I am trying to create a SMTP connector in Exchange 2003
on a SB server 2003. I am getting the following error
message from the Exchange System Manager:

We have an Exchange 2000 server that is not reporting any
errors in its logs, has up to date AV protection and has
had multiple full manual scans performed with incoming and
outgoing AV protection. All is clear.

What messages sit in this SMTP queue..? Could it be message that are save in the Outlook Outbox..

Not sure where to post this but here it goes:
Running Exchange 2000 and Active Directory 2000 in native mode, upgraded all
Domain controllers to Active Directory 2003 using the correct methods.  Now

Setup exchange 2000, no one is receiving mail.  I can see mail in the que but it is not routing to the mailboxes.  I can send out anywhere but nothing is getting to the mailboxes.

I have a test environment with this configuration:
A PDC (win NT server)that upgraded to DC win2000 server
and an Exchange 5.5 organization on this DC and a win2k
server that I want to install an Exvhange 2000 on it

I'm running an Exchange environment with two Exch 2003 servrs and two Exch
2000 servers. The problem is that when messages are sent to a couple of
distribution list they go sit in the "messages awaiting directory lookup
queue" and are never actually delivered through.. This happens ...
