Since Monday we've noticed severe delays when sending mail. Items enter the queue under the SMTP virtual server, yet take hours (some days) to actually be sent. There are no problems however, with inbound mail.

we have e2k running well, but i am concerned because when i view the smtp service, it shows a ton of connections for a long time in seconds, usually several of the same junkmail domains. i feel that i may not be allowing

I get an NDR when sending out an email. <#5.5.0 smtp;553-Sorry, your IP address 0.0.0.0 has been> an there it stops. I can't seem to send email to this one spesific domain. Anyone with an answer.

I can open OWA inside the LAN via the server local IP/exchange. But from the web I get "404 Not Found" error. I can access the IIS Default page and port 80 is forwarded to the server?

Newbie questions. RPCs over HTTP sounds great. So when used with Exchange Server 2003, is Outlook 2003 Internet traffic encrypted by default? Or is something like a VPN connection still required? Also is OWA traffic encrypted, also? Or is a HTTPS connection required?

Pardon the cross posting but I have scoured the Exchange and the Windows newsgroups with no success. Windows Server 2003 (and XP) has a folder called Saved Queries in Active Directory Users and Computers.
